Recently, I have been receiving many new enquiries for next year! People are excited to travel and celebrate with their loved ones afar. For clients located in Asia or North America, Europe is a nice middle ground for their guests to meet from around the world. And of course, France and Italy are the two most popular European destinations!

Your wedding is both a financial investment and time commitment for your guests, so give them as much notice as you can — 9 to 12 months is a good amount of time!

1200€ per guest is a comfortable budget to work with but of course, the scale and complexity of every wedding is different, as are each couple’s priorities.

It’s no secret that France is recognized for its rich gastronomy and lifestyle. I encourage my couples to embrace the French art de vivre (art of living) — whether it’s through their wedding menu (think traditional cuisine or exceptional wines in the countryside), cultural experiences, or simply enjoying themselves with their loved ones!

Which months are the best period for a wedding in France?
I personally think France is magical year‑round, but spring and autumn are lovely seasons to get married in France. Both seasons offer comfortable temperatures — gardens come alive in April, but foliage is equally as beautiful in October!

First and foremost, decide on the experience you want to provide for your guests and then choose a meaningful, but suitable location. Hire a planner who specializes in destination weddings — the knowledge and network they can offer you is worth their weight in gold!

Following the wedding venue, I suggest booking your photographer, makeup artist, and stationery designer. Highly‑sought after vendors will already have limited availability a year in advance!

What are your top 3 wedding venues in France?
There are SO many incredible venues in France… the iconic Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in the French Riviera is a fitting choice for a glamorous celebration. Just outside of Paris, Château de Villette is a perfect choice with on‑site accommodation for an intimate guest‑list. And of course, you can never go wrong with the luxurious Shangri‑La palace in the heart of Paris!

How can brides and grooms chose the perfect wedding attire?
Consider the climate and terrain of your wedding location. A lightweight and breathable fabric is most suitable for a warm climate such as the South of France. Likewise, a dramatic (but heavy!) ballgown would be perfect if getting married in a cool chateau or Parisian hotel!

If possible, choose a venue that can accommodate all your guests — it always makes for a more intimate celebration when everyone can wine and dine together!
If budget allows, plan for a wedding weekend rather than a one‑day affair. Many of your guests will be traveling far and wide to your wedding, so having an expanded itinerary and extra activities will truly elevate the overall guest experience.
